Hyper Culture

Review: A few weeks ago, I was contacted by a very sweet girl named Christensia Parkin. She is the talented designer for Hyper Culture, a relatively new brand that has a whole lot of potential. She asked me to review this item and I couldn’t say no. I love this look so much! It’s called Trinity by Hyper Culture and is part of the Couture 2010. It is a lace bodysuit that comes with a thick, heavy-looking, Lara Croft type of belt. The outfit also comes with a cute mini bolero with frills on the neck and shoulder pads that add a type of aviator look, I think. I love shoulder pads! I also love the detailing under the breasts on the bodysuit. For those that wear pants, unlike me, there is the option of wearing cute striped capris under the bodysuit. I love this look for multiple reasons; it screams couture with the lace, it adds a type of edge with the belt and shoulder pads, and because it honestly is great quality. Un luxe of Couture!! Head to Hyper Culture and get yours!

Chapeau du Théâtre

Review: As many of you might already know, there’s an accessory fair going atm. So I went to have a look and saw this gorgeous hat by Epoque. It’s called Chapeau in Theatre. They also have a second version whhich is a lighter cream with pink flowers. I love anything made by Epoque so I was really excited when I heard that they had accessories in the accessory fair. Any who, it’s a gorgeous hat. It reminds me a bit of the hat that Rose (Kate Winslet) wears when she’s about to board the Titanic. I love the touch of obnoxious glam and the classic touch that the bigness of the hat brings. I wish I lived in that era! You should really get it if you like big accessories and it’s great for photographers! Well ladies and gents, strap on your stilettos and head to the Accessory Fair (wish I had the link thingy!)

Ambrosia

Review: This is the new hair by !lamb. Aren’t you excited?! I sure am!! Any who, it is a retake on the previous style called Witch but it has a type of knot/bun sitting on the top of the head like a beautiful crown instead of the poof kind of bang. It has a few “baby hairs” pointing out from the top hairline to add a realistic look and also so the forehead isn’t the main focus. I love the cute little sideburns that she adds. There is also a different style called Soma that comes with feathered side bangs. It comes in Black (Ink), Grey (Granny), Blonde (Blonde), and Obsidian. I think I found my new favorite hairstyle! Un luxe!! Go get your hair styled at el salon !lamb at Tableau.

Modern Country Club

Review: So I didn’t have class this morning so I logged onto SL and pretty much spent my whole day on there. Any who, I dropped by Epoque this morning and I found this new release. It’s called Modern Country Club Skirt. I love the length of it (love showing off my legs.). The color is just so playful and it screams Beverly Hills Golf Club. It comes with a HUD where you can add or remove the little pocket on the bottom. The belt color is also changeable, the colors for the belt are black, silver, brown and gold. Go get your skirt!!

Epoque Eclipse Glasses

Review: A little update (might not be new news for many of you) but Epoque has released a new line of eyewear called Eclipse. The glasses above are called Tapered Glasses and they are included in the new line. They are awesome because the frame colors changes and you can tint the lenses. Her designs are very different and fit everyone’s taste. The pair I have on is from the neutral line of the Tapered Glasses and that includes black, pink, white, silver, grey etc as frame colors.  Many of you might be wondering (or might not) what that white line at the entrance of Epoque, it’s a type of Hansel and Gretel guide for the Eclipse store which is right next door. If you’re looking for fabulous eyewear, just follow the white line (you can’t miss it!), I recommend it!

Diva On The Block

Review: I was scoping blogs two days ago looking for new stuff and I saw an entry on Wasted Youth, owned by the gorgeous Kendall Freenote, and I went there to check it out. Guys, her stuff is awesome! If you dig chic, classy, new york girl style of clothing, you should check it out. Any who, the blazer is by Wasted Youth, it’s called Structured Sequin Blazer. The jacket comes with structured shoulder pads and the texture is of sequins. I love the cheerfulness of the colors of the jacket and the way the sequins really dress up the look. I adore shoulder pads so it’s a plus. Wasted Youth is now one more store on store stalker list. Go check out Wasted Youth, your time won’t be wasted. (Terrible play on words, I know.)

Hit The Metro Pantless!

Review: Don’t you feel like hitting the metro sometimes without pants? Get the rush when you hear people whispering, giggling, and staring? No? I guess that’s just me then. Anyways, I love this jacket! It’s called My Belted Jacket by the incredible (Milk Motion).  I love the  lenghth of the jacket, I personally don’t like too short jackets, so this jacket is the perfect lenght for me. I also adore the cute belt and the fabric shoulder pads, adds a touch of glam to the jean. The stichting, shading etc. is magnificent. I recommend this jacket because first the price is reasonable because of the quality, the jacket fits the body perfectly, and it’s just so freaking adorable. Bravissimo Milk Motion!!

Bowl Cut

(Principe by CheerNo in Platinum)

Review: Once again CheerNo has taken over my heart and pocketbook. I went to CheerNo to explore Vitor’s great designs once again and I found this cute little hair. I love the way it covers the eyes, adds a touch of mystery. I also love the loose little hairs that come out at the bottom and the shape of it is just spectacular. There is a crown that you can buy seperately (hence the name principe which means prince in portuguese). I just love it when I find designers that know what they’re doing and aren’t scared of being different and taking a risk so once again I bow to CheerNo. Now get up and go buy it!

Boxed In Shaven Chick

Review: I met a young man named Vitor Algoma (I don’t think he knows me heheh) and he is the spectacular designer, owner, inventor etc for Casa CheerNo. It’s a clothing line for men only, but knowing me, I took a chance in buying some of his designs and seeing if it would fit my body etc. Clever as I am I messaged the managers for CheerNo, but they were offline and I’m impatient so I took the risk. Gladly and luckily they did fit! Guys, if you’re into sexy, stylish clothing that has a touch of femininity in it, CheerNo is your store. I love the “controversy” that there is when a girl comes out wearing boxers or having a buzz cut so I kinda wanted to show a more masculine side but still keep my Alexander McQueen heels on.  So Ladies and Gents, if you like boy clothes that are sexy, tight, controversial, exciting visit CheerNo and you won’t regret it.
